Earth USA 2026 - Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

When will I receive my conference pass?
We don’t send out physical conference passes for Earth USA but you should have received a registration confirmation e-mail when you completed your online registration. This registration confirmation automatically added you to our attendance roster for the conference. You will receive your name tag at check in on Friday morning This name tag will serve as your physical conference pass for the weekend so be sure to have it and wear it at all times!

Where can I park?
Scottish Rite offers a limited number of free parking spots (85) directly behind the conference building . These parking spots are available on a first come, first served basis for conference attendees. Once the lot is full for day, plan on using paid parking on the street or local (paid) parking lots or garages. Montezuma Lodge is directly next door to Scottish Rite and offers paid parking (which might need to be arranged in advance). Their phone number is 505-982-0971, speak with Nate or Jose. We do encourage people to walk to Scottish Rite if possible as downtown parking in Santa Fe is always a challenge.

Is there a WiFi connection that I can use during the conference?
Scottish Rite has a guest WiFi system that is password protected. The guest WiFi password is posted in the entry to the ballroom, theater & kitchen.

Can I get a printed conference schedule?
In an effort to save paper and resources, we stopped handing out printed conference schedules after our 2019 event. Links to the final digital schedules will be e-mailed to you shorty before the conference begins. We will also have QR codes displayed at the conference venue which you can use to quickly view the final online schedules. A large printed schedule will also be displayed at the theater door with info on upcoming sessions. Finally, all digital schedules will contain links to full papers (as PDF files) which can be opened and viewed during the presentation sessions as a reference.

How can I get AIA credit for the conference?
There will be a sign-in sheet at the conference check-in table each morning where you can enter your name and AIA number to record your attendance. It is important that you add your name to the sign-in sheet each day of the conference (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) so that you receive full credit. Full details about AIA credit for the conference can be found here.

I’m a sponsor. How do I get my organization’s promotional materials onto the sponsorship table?
Please let the Earth USA Team know that you are a sponsor when checking in on Friday morning. We will have a dedicated person (Mateo Salinas Clark) who will accompany you to the sponsor’s table to get your materials displayed.

I’m a poster presenter. Where will the poster presentations take place and who will set up my poster for me? What happens to my poster after the presentation?
The poster presentations will be taking place in the ballroom at Scottish Rite (in conjunction with the morning and afternoon coffee breaks). Representatives from the Earth USA Team will display your poster on an easel before your session begins. You simply need to find your poster and stand next to it to begin your presentation. Earth USA has an archive of all past posters and will add your poster to this archive after the conference (with your permission).

Where can I get lunch?
There are lots of good lunch options within walking distance of the conference venue (mostly around the Santa Fe Plaza). Find a link to a map with lunch options here.

Can I meet up with conference presenters & attendees outside of the regular conference programming?
At past Earth USA conferences, attendees have requested that we set up a centralized meeting point for informal discussions to continue after the formal conference ends each day. For Earth USA 2026 we have chosen the following venue as our designated informal meeting point for Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening:

Sky Cinemas (formerly known as Violet Crown Cinema & Cafe)
1606 Alcaldesa St
Santa Fe, NM 87501
