Earth USA 2019 - Full Paper & Presentation Guidelines
Instructions for Podium Presentation Submissions
All podium presenters are requested to submit their podium presentation files by Friday, October 18, 2019 to ensure correct playback at the conference. PowerPoint or PDF presentation files should be emailed directly to our podium technician (Kurt Gardella) at email@example.com. For files larger than 15MB we recommend using a file transfer service such as We Transfer.
PowerPoint/PDF Slideshow Formatting and Guidelines:
Maximum duration of slideshow: 15 minutes (via timed slideshow playback)
Suggested number of slides: 30 (2 per minute)
Use large and clear type.
Use high resolution images and illustrations (minimum 300dpi).
Be sure to include the author's name, institutional affiliation and contact details in the slideshow.
Be sure to include the Earth USA 2019 Logo in your presentation.
Instructions for Poster Session Submissions
All full papers for poster presentations will also be published in the Earth USA 2019 Conference Proceedings. Please follow the full-paper guidelines above for submitting the full paper which coincides with your poster.
Additionally, we will be organizing poster presentations at the conference venue. Posters should be submitted in person at the registration desk on Friday, October 25, 2019 (the first day of the conference).
Poster Formatting and Guidelines:
Paper size: US Poster (33" wide x 46" tall) or A0 (841mm wide x 1188mm tall)
Maximum number of poster pages: 1
Poster orientation: vertical
Use large and clear type
Use high resolution JPEG or TIFF images and illustrations (minimum 300dpi)
Each section of the poster should include a title and a brief text explanation
Be sure to include the author's name, institutional affiliation and contact details on the poster
Be sure to include the Earth USA 2019 Logo on the poster
Instructions for Full Paper Submissions
All presenters are requested to submit their full papers by Monday, July 15, 2019 to ensure their publication in the Earth USA 2019 Conference Proceedings. Final full papers should be emailed directly to our editor (Cornelia Theimer Gardella) at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Full Paper Formatting Guidelines:
Please limit your full paper to a maximum of 7 pages (including graphics/images).
Set your document size to US Letter or A4.
Set your font size to 12 and use standard margins.
Set your line spacing to 1.5.
Please submit your paper as a .DOC or .DOCX file.
In addition to inserting images and illustrations directly into your paper, please also attach the images and illustrations as separate JPEG or TIFF files (use high resolution images at a minimum of 300dpi). Please use descriptive file names or a numbering system which matches the images inserted into your paper.
We also request that authors submit a short biography (60 words maximum) along with a current e-mail address to be included in the conference proceedings.
Please note: Authors are responsible for content, image copyrights and the linguistic correctness of their papers. All submissions will be edited and formatted to ensure uniform layout of the conference proceedings.
